Singing Workshops
Jane Harris, Director of Songways, leads all day singing workshops including stunning venues. With her lively, clear and enabling teaching style, Jane brings out the best in singers’ voices, with open, resonant, heart-felt singing.
We host singing workshops in Bath with renowned guest tutors including English folk trio Lady Maisery, Windborne, Moira Smiley and Kathy Bullock from the US and Luke Wallace from Canada.
Rolling Harmony workshops are led by Jane Harris and Claire Stronach, with Rolling Harmony singers supporting every vocal part.
Soul Soundings are special participatory singing events in exceptional sacred spaces, including Wells Cathedral and Chapter House and Bath Abbey, led by Jane Harris.
Singing retreats include Sing the Cambridge Colleges and Singing on Lundy island led by Jane Harris, Halsway Manor led by Jane and Pip Wright from Cornwall and L’Abbazia di Maguzzano near Lake Garda led by Jane, John Harrison from the US and Carlo Pozzoli from Milan.
These events are open to all and are popular with an ever-widening network of singers as well as those who sing regularly in Songways choirs. All songs and harmonies are taught by ear on the day and no experience is necessary.
