Songways singers had an inspiring visit from Luke Wallace from Vancouver while he was touring in the UK representing Canada at the English Folk Expo. This special collaboration came about through some wonderful connections… Jane’s friendship with Shawn Kirchner in LA prompted us to learn Luke’s song Easy on the Earth (arranged by Shawn), and family connections of Songways singers in Vancouver linked us even more closely with Luke. A celebration of the power of music to bring us all together. We hope to welcome Luke to Bath on his next visit to the UK.

Luke is also a good friend of Moira Smiley, who we are thrilled to be hosting in Bath on Saturday 4 October for a singing workshop and a performance of her Rhizome Project, with string quartet and Rolling Harmony Jane’s vocal ensemble.
