We are thrilled to be hosting Luke Wallace from Vancouver in Bath for a singing workshop and concert.
Luke Wallace’s planet-kind songs, arranged for community choirs by Shawn Kirchner, are currently being sung by 85 choirs across the world.
“My inspiration is the power and fragility of the natural world and the resilience of the people determined to protect it.” Luke Wallace
Luke brings a fun, uplifting style of teaching all centred on a message of collective action and people power. He uses both his original songs and a selection from his favourite eco songwriters to craft a choral experience that is uniquely moving and inspiring.
“It’s the kind of catchy folk music that becomes the anthems of rallies and movements” Roots Music Canada
“Luke is like a modern Pete Seeger. From the moment he hits the stage, he has the audience singing about positive change.” – Doug Cox
Through several timely mutual connections, Songways learned Luke’s song, Easy on the Earth, arranged for choir by Shawn Kirchner and Luke came to sing with Songways in March 2025… an inspiring an uplifting experience for us all. We are delighted to welcome Luke to Bath for a full day singing workshop. To round off the day, we will become the audience for Luke’s concert (with audience singing too). Concert-only tickets will also be available.
