The Bath & NE Somerset Carers’ Centre has over 20 years’ experience of supporting carers of all ages and is leading the way for a carer-friendly community, where carers of today and tomorrow are fully recognised, valued and supported and have what they need to stay well, in control and feel connected. The centre offers services to support to maintain and improve carers’ physical and mental health and emotional wellbeing, and to help them to keep on caring for as long as they want to. The centre encourages carers to have a life of their own and stay connected with others, empowering family and friends to support carers close to them.
More about the B&NES Carers’ Centre…
The Amber Trust aims to provide blind and partially sighted children, including those with additional disabilities, the best possible chance to meet their musical needs and aspirations.
The Trust was founded in 1995 and has grown to become the only national charity dedicated to supporting visually impaired children with their musical development and education. The Trust aims to enhance the lives of as many of the 25,000 visually impaired children in the UK as possible through music, and to promote high quality music provision.
For some children, learning to play an instrument or to sing can add immeasurably to their lives. With the right encouragement, these children can develop their talents to remarkable ends, breaking down barriers, promoting social inclusion and helping to fulfil their potential as individuals and musicians.
