We are very sorry to announce that the planned workshop with Tony Backhouse on Sat 10 Oct has been cancelled as Tony will not be traveling to the UK due to family illness. We hope very much that he will be returning to Bath in 2016. To ensure you receive details, please join our mailing list.

Tony Backhouse is one of the leaders in the Australasian a cappella movement. He works with the passionate and exciting African-American repertoire, focusing on spirituals, gospel songs old and new, choral and quartet styles, and embracing South African church songs, doo-wop, R&B and pop. The emphasis is on harmony, collective improvisation and freedom of expression. No music-reading skills are required, and you may record the sessions.
