Rolling Harmony is a vocal ensemble from the South West of England performing a rich variety of music rooted in English and American harmony singing traditions. Formed by Jane Harris, Director of Songways in Bath, the group brings together experienced singers united by a passion for vocal harmony and a love of performing. About The Lost Words by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris…

The Lost Words is a ‘book of spells’ that seeks to conjure back the near-lost magic and strangeness of the nature that surrounds us. Each lost word is conjured back to importance through Robert’s powerful spells. They are called ‘spells’ rather than poems as they are designed to be spoken (or sung) out loud in order to summon back these words and creatures into our hearts.

About Spell Songs

Spell Songs is a musical evolution of both The Lost Words & The Lost Spells books by acclaimed author Robert Macfarlane and award-winning illustrator Jackie Morris; featuring the multifaceted talents and collaborative genius of Karine Polwart, Julie Fowlis, Seckou Keita, Kris Drever, Rachel Newton, Beth Porter and Jim Molyneux.

About the Spell Songs choral arrangements

The choral arrangements are by composer, musician and author Dr Kerry Andrew in collaboration with composer, singer and choir leader Ben See and Spell Singer Jim Molyneux.
