About us
Jane Harris is a natural musician, an experienced teacher and the founder of Songways. Jane trained as a community choir leader with Candy Verney, Director of Singing in the Round. Jane has been involved in the music world for much of her career, having worked for the National Youth Orchestra and Welsh National Opera. She ran weekly children’s music classes at the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon for five years. Jane studied classical violin and enjoys playing Scottish and other traditional fiddle music in a lively folk trio. Jane has an MA Hons degree from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. She is a member of the Natural Voice Practioner’s Network.

Sue Glanville leads some of the Songways Singing Days jointly with Jane. Sue Glanville was Head of RE and Collective Worship in a comprehensive school for many years before training to be a Life Coach and Spiritual Director. She leads creative retreats in beautiful and sacred places, using art, poetry and song.
